A Bear Footprint and a Visit from Barb and Steve

A Bear Footprint by the Pond
We walked to the pond with Chewy. Found a bear footprint!
A Visit from Barb and Steve
My sister, Barb, and her husband, Steve, spent two nights here. They came up from Calgary to visit with Dad. The home cooking and red wine were great. BBQ wieners with coleslaw one night, Paella with Tiger Prawns the next night! I won't be weighing myself for a few days. LOL!
Chewy's Guilty Hiding Spot
I took Chewy to Cindy's place yesterday. Usually we sit outside on the deck in the sun. The dogs eventually crash beside us. Cindy and I stayed inside her house for a few hours cooking for a meal she was going to serve later. Chewy eventually came into her attached garage and lay beside the kitchen door. I heard a scratch on the door. Cindy's two Chihuahuas came up to the kitchen door barking. I opened the door. Chewy knew he'd done the wrong thing; he was trying to hide under Cindy's truck! Later when I left through the front door of Cindy's house, I thought I'd have to call him. No he was sitting beside the passenger door of my truck. He's heard and seen me say goodbye to Cindy dozens of times, so I guessed he understands our language of goodbye.
28 Days of Combining
Harley will be helping his brother combine canola today. We've had no rain for four weeks. Harley's family doesn't work on Sundays. Other farmers have been working for 28 days straight.
