Editing Under Stress and a New Digital Scale

A Morning Deep in Edits
In the morning I was pursuing my final draft for the coloured edition of Your Weight Loss Companion. Harley likes to talk to me in the morning and he could see I was busy, so he went out to take Chewy for a walk. When he came back in he could see I was still deep into my work editing. He announced he was going to town to buy parts for a project he was working on in the shop. Half an hour later, he phoned to say that he wanted to invite me out for breakfast at Albert's, a chain restaurant in Canada. I told him I'd call him when I left the house. It was 11:30 AM, so I ordered lunch. I ordered their smallest cheeseburger. Because I was under so much stress, I ordered it with fries (no gravy) instead of a salad like I normally would. Harley wanted me to explain everything I was doing with my book, so that was part of our morning discussion. Our waitress was the part owner, Jennifer. The beauty of living in a small town and frequenting the same business establishments, is that "everyone knows your name." It's like living inside a Cheers episode. LOL!!!
Zero Calories for the Rest of the Day
Anyway, I mentally added up the calories I had consumed and told myself, I would only consume 0 calories for the rest of the day.
A New Digital Scale
When shopping later, I purchased a digital scale. I'll move our spring scale to the full bathroom downstairs. Good news, this morning I'm .3 of a lb. down. My adherence to my daily diet plan worked. My spring scale seemed to be lingering at the same weight for 3 days. My digital scale gives me hope.
The Role of Stress in Weight
I would also ask you to examine the role of stress in your life and the effect it has on your health & weight.
