A Friend's Court Case

Maintained my weight. Because I have just written down the date, I am reminded that my young, 25ish, female friend, K (for now) is involved with an inheritance dispute and separation of property dispute. Her lawyer went to court today along with the estate's lawyer and the ex-partner's lawyer. K had been present at another hearing and the ex-partner and her family called out after a judge made a decision. The judge chastised them, then said that only their legal counsels would be allowed in court for the next hearing. I'll know how the hearing went in a few days.

Wrangling a Temperamental Computer

I spent most of the morning transferring pictures from my phone to the computer. The computer was temperamental. I had to fully charge the computer, then restart it. By noon I had emailed Mark from Ingram Publishings the second half of my pictures.

A Stressful Call About Changing Publishers

I had a stressful phone conversation with someone who didn't think I should change publishers. This conversation was offset by a wonderful conversation with a friend who believes in me and stokes my ego.

Farmer's Sausage and Happy Hour

I had cooked Farmer's Sausage in the morning to take a picture of it. Harley, at outdoor happy hour, said he would make his own supper. Bless him.
